Kirstine was co-founder and co-CEO of the award winning concert concept and record label HUN SOLO 2016-2023. HUN SOLO’s purpose is to achieve a greater level of diversity in the Danish music industry. By featuring outstanding prominent as well as up-coming female and non binary artists across genres, age and ethnicity, HUN SOLO aims to expose strong role models and wishes to inspire others to unfold their potential and power.
HUN SOLO has featured hundreds of outstanding artists over the years and has performed sold out concerts at the greatest concert halls across Denmark along with festivals like Roskilde Festival (Avalon Stage, main festival), SmukFest, SPOT, Arctic Sounds and more. HUN SOLO has toured in Denmark, Pakistan, Faeroe Islands and Greenland.
HUN SOLO has been granted 3 prizes, among others the prestigious 'GAFFA Tak Rock Prisen' (2020), which honors a person or organization for 'an extraordinary contribution to Danish music’. In 2023 HUN SOLO was nominated for the Danish Cultural Minister’s Bodil Koch Prisen - given to ‘a person or organization that has made an exceptional effort to promote equality and/or diversity within the arts and cultural life.
In 2023 Kirstine has decided to stop as co-CEO in HUN SOLO to focus 100% on the Sitrekin project.
